Despite amazing efforts at the end of the season, the Dons fell short of their goal of advancing to the CIF Championships. However, the Dons should not feel any disappointment at all as they both ran to the second fastest times at the Mt. SAC course in school history.

The team banquet will be held on December 15, 2009 at the Sheraton Cerritos from 5:30pm to 10:00pm. Please pay by November 25, 2009!

Best of luck to the Dons who face CIF Prelimary competition this Saturday at Mt. SAC. The girls will race at 8:52am in Race #6 (DIII, Heat #3) and the boys will race at 11:07am in Race #15 (DIII, Heat #1). The bus will depart the CHS 183rd Lot at 6:15am and will return at about 1pm!

The Dons placement in league didn't match how well they ran, as the Dons flew to their best times of the season in the last meet of the regular season! The boys varsity place their top seven under 17 at the three mile mark, while the girls flew to the school record of 97:03! Congratulations Dons.

The Suburban League Finals is being held today (Thursday, November 5) at Cerritos Regional Park. The race schedule is as follows:

Boys JV - 2:30pm
Girls Varsity - 3:00pm
Boys Varsity - 3:30pm
