Girls Varsity 4x1600m Relay
After the 2010 team missed breaking the mark set in 2009 by less than a second, the 2011 made sure that they did find the same fate. With two Mt. SAC Relay veterans (Magana, Sunio), the Dons were in good hands. Jessica Sunio busted out with a 5:25 opening leg, followed by two solid 5:44-5:48 legs from Connie Caliz and Isis Christopher (only third time running the 1600m). The record was closed out by Athalia Magana in her fastest time of the season 5:51.
Boys Varsity 4x1600m Relay (#2 AT w/conversions)
The Dons conquered their walls and ran to a 19:13 4x1600 top unconverted time with the Suburban League Cross Country Championship team. Sophomore Ryan Poblete (4:53), senior Wesley Horng (4:49), and juniors Bryan Markalay (4:47) and Thien-Nam To (4:41) became the first team from Cerritos since 1979 to break 20 minutes in the relay. The 1979 team ran a 18:46.2 converted from the 4xMile.
Boys Frosh/Soph 4x1600m Relay
The Trabuco Hills Invitational - Distance Carnival yielded the boys frosh-soph 4x1600m record by an astonishing 33 seconds! The Dons smashed the previous marks with three very consistent legs of 4:55-4:56-4:56 by Raymond Lim, Ganesh Tilve, and Joshua Quarles. Shrineel Patel was not far off his PR at the time with his 5:26. The team time was 20:15.3.
Boys Frosh/Soph 4x800 Relay
The quad of Tim Vongphanichith (2:15), Andrew Shen (2:13), Ian Chiang (2:10), and Joshua Suh (2:16) combined to break the frosh-soph boys 4x800m record and would break into the top five list for the boys varsity with the time established.
Girls Frosh/Soph 4x800m Relay
Four sub-2:45 legs in the 4x800m relay led to the record breaking mark set by Audrey Lee (2:39 - anchor), Natalie Cortez (2:41), Caroline Luu (2:44), and Jennifer Park (2:40).

Girls 4x1600m Relay
At the 2009 Mt. SAC Relays, the lady Dons ran a school record 23:00.06 relay with four sub-6 legs from freshman Athalia Magana (5:57.73), junior Melody Lim (5:43.09), senior Melody Chern (5:41.83) and sophomore Jessica Sunio (5:37.40). The lady Dons barely missed breaking 23:00, however were able to edge the 23:05.6 time from 1998.
