The Dons were successful in their opening meet against Wilson Hacienda Heights, as they take home three victories on the day. The distance team also took revenge from their loss to the girls varsity team in 2009.

Boys Jr. Varsity: 82-40 (13-5 + 3)
GV: Jessica Sunio led the way for the Dons with a comfortable win in the 800m after taking home first in the 1600. Athalia Magana and Christina Alarid took home 3rd in the 1600m and the 800m respectively.
BV: Ryan Poblete opened the season well with a battle down the stretch and landed with a second place finish with Karantej Kohli holding third behind him. In the 800m, a similar situation was flipped, as Ivan Juarez took the win away from Wilson, with his surge. Ryan Poblete held third.
BJV: Andrew Shen took the lead with approximately 100m left to go in the 1600m, however, fell short during the last furious sprint to the finish. Ian Chiang took home 3rd. The Dons took revenge in the 800m, sweeping the top three spots behind Andrew Shen, Timothy Vongphanichith and Joshua Suh. Stanley Chang took home second behind a Cerritos sprinter in the 400m.
NOTE - The 3200m and the 4x400m were canceled due to lack of daylight.
